NED BURROWS

Ned Burrows, 83, a resident of Muscatine and Cedar counties all his life, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at the Grigg nursing home after an extended illness.
He was born in Cedar county Aug. 18, 1878, the son of John and Rosey Adams Burrows. He never married.
Surviving are three brothers, William, Walter and Bert Burrows, all of Muscatine and a sister, Mrs. Charles Burroughs, Muscatine. Six brothers and two sisters are dead.
Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery, Cedar county. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at George M. Wittich Funeral Home.
