Mr. Burrows, a resident of Muscatine for 10 years, died at 1 p.m. at his home at 712 East Sixth St.
He was a retired employee of C. E. Richard and Sons, and had formerly lived at Tipton.
Mr. Burrows was born Aug. 8, 1891, at Tipton, the son of John and Rosey Adams Burrows.
He was married in 1917 at Tipton to Mary Baker. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are one brother William Burrows, of Muscatine; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Burroughs of Muscatine.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 10 brothers, two sisters and one daughter.
