Sylvia Ann was the daughter of Sylvia Jenney and Joseph A. Gifford of Huron and Williams Cos., Ohio; while John was the son of Harmon Doolittle and Martha Stubbs of Williams Co., Ohio. John and Sylvia moved to Kansas not long after Libby's death.
