Karl Lester Johnsonbaugh, 65, of 848 Carroll St. died at his home after a long illness. A Native of State College, Pa., he had lived in Akron 37 years. Mr. Johnsonbaugh, a WW I veteran, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 19 and the Bricklayers Union Local 7. He worked as a bricklayer for all the major construction companies in the Akron area before ill health forced him to retire.
He leaves his wife Lenora; a brother, Willis of Belfonte,, Pa.; and two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Snyder of Churchville, Pa., and Mrs. Margaret Carlyle of Tampa, Fla.
The Rev. L. Morrow Witherspoon will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckard Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
