Died at about 3-4 years old. No details are known about Henry otherwise. Harold Christian, early Jenkins-Christian family researcher, visited sites around Dalton and Bryan's Mill in Cass County, Texas, where the Jenkins family lived. He found a burial plot on a former Jenkins residence farm, owned by J C Mitchell at that time.

The gravestone dates are not fully readable, due to damage to the headstone. Family tradition suggests Henry was born in 1876, matching the readable year of 1876 on the stone. The month is missing. Thus he would have been only about 4 years old at most when he died, as he never appears in a census. He died some time before the June 1880 census.

"A small grave with an old handmade sandstone marker bearing the inscription “(?). H. Jenkins / Born - 4, 1876 / Died --” is located in a small grove of trees and crepe myrtle about 350 yards northwest of the farm home occupied by Mrs. J. C. Mitchell (between Bryans Mill and Dalton). One of the Jenkins families was reported to have lived on this farm in the late 1800s."
