He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice; father of Debie (Robert) LaBranche, the late Mary Cannard, Gina (Bob) Brown, Clay (special family friend Alex Skelly) Hathcock; grandpa/popo of Amanda, Bethany, Jamie, Tara, Rachel, Britney, Ashley, Bobby; great-grandpa of Ke'Juan, Chanese, Jacob, Dallas, Landon, C.J., Ryder, Koty. Alvin and his wife were like parents to many in the community.
He retired from General Motors.
