Misako Lynn Matthew, 14, of 5025 Dundas Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, May 20, at the Midland Hospital Center of injuries sustained in an auto-pedestrian accident in Beaverton. She was born Aug. 6, 1970, in Midland and had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. She was a freshman at Beaverton High School and a member of the Dale United Methodist Church School and track and. Softball teams in school.
She is survived by her parents, Dan and Rachel Matthew; one sister, Mrs. Mark (Cheryl) Schafer of Beaverton; 2 brothers, Michael Guest of Beaverton and Caniel Jr. of Huntingtown, Md.; grandparents, Dayton and Anna Matthew and Edward Fisher of Midland. Her grandmother Fisher died Feb. 5, 1985.
Services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch will officiate and burial will be in the Tobacco Township Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 5-22/1985 Column – 3 Page – 2.
