Obituary: DIVINE, Tamara Kay (Thornton) April 6, 1959 to Dec. 3, 2008. Exceptional sister, friend, business owner, author, wife and mother, Tamara Divine of Meadow Vista, California passed away within days of a diagnosis of cancer. Raised in Cupertino, Tamara was the beloved daughter of Harvey and Betty Thornton and sister of Penny Thompson, Wendy Nolen, Claudia Arndt, Katie Therien and Kim Anderson. Tamara joins her departed son Sean Divine. She leaves behind her husband, Joe Divine, her sons Joshua Merritt, Mike and Jeffrey Divine and daughter Tyler Divine, grandson Sean Divine, and granddaughters Ashleigh Merritt and Kyleigh Divine. Also, her parents, sisters, many friends and extended family will miss her dearly. A vibrant woman, Tamara lived a life of passion and had a tremendous sense of humor. She loved sports, animals, music and singing. She taught her clients how to find love and she taught her grateful family strength and courage. Memorial services will be held at 2:30PM, Saturday, December 13th at Auburn Grace Community Church, 3126 Olympic Way, Auburn, CA 95603. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in Tamara's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org. A celebration of her life to follow at Rick & Katie Therien's home, 2625 North Lakewood Drive, Meadow Vista, CA 95722.
