Emma Madsen, 84, 319 Pine St., Momence, died Saturday at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee.
She was born July 16, 1898 in Indiana to Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen.
Her husband, Hoger Madsen, to whom she was married March 10, 1920 in Momence, died Nov. 27, 1972.
Mrs. Madsen was a member of First United Methodist Church and a Esther Circle of the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Nagle and one son, Glen Madsen, both of Bourbonnais; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Jensen of Minneapolis, Minn., and Harry Jensen of Sherburnville; and five sisters, Minnie and May Hupp, Carrie Nelson, Margaret Schoeffner and Pauline Cedan, all of Momence.
Five brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Ruge Funeral Home.
Visitation at the First United Methodist Church will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Scott W. Carlson will officiate.
Burial will be in Momence Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the ALS Foundation (Lou Gerig Disease) and to the First United Methodist Church.
