Ronald Sams, 64, of Covington, Indiana, passed away on June 30, 2015 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on April 22, 1951 in Danville, the son of Hershel E. and Jenny R. (Smith) Sams. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Hershel Wayne Sams.

Ronald will be deeply missed by his daughter, Karla Litas Sams; three brothers, Robert (Peggy) Sams and twins, Donald (Linda) Sams and Keith Sams; sister, Shelly Sams Badger; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Carla Miller.

Ronald was employed at Esco and Freight Car.
