Timothy J. Berry, age 50, of the town of Rome (Nekoosa), died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11 AM at Woodland Lutheran Church, 280 14th Ave., Nekoosa. Pastor Stan Kwiecien will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Branch Cemetery in the town of Rome. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Timothy was born November 3, 1964 in Columbus, WI to James and Gertrude (Oelke) Berry. He was employed by Berry Builders and Pfeffer Home Improvement as a carpenter/plasterer doing residential building in the Columbus area.

Tim was a generous and giving person and greatly enjoyed living at the lake. He enjoyed the company of the family’s dogs.

He is survived by his son, Beau James Berry (friend – Colleen) of Wichita, KS; his parents, James and Gertrude Berry of the town of Rome; his sisters, Peggy (Mike Shaffner) McCumber of DeForest, and Susan (William) Schulz of Baraboo; his nieces and nephews, Kyle McCumber, Holly (Jared) Rennock, Chad Rayford, Derek (Nicole) Rayford, Colin Schulz and Connor Schulz; 4 great nieces and nephews, Carli, Lincoln, Nora and Declan.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents
