Yates William Alexander, youngest child of Summey and Jennie Alexander, born August 13th, 1904, died May 8th, 1908, aged three years, eight months and twenty-five days.
Little Yates was taken sick on Sunday night, April 26th, 1908, and suffered untold pain for twelve long days–although given the best and most careful attention by the physicians and friends, He who gave him life hath seen good cause to take him to join the angelic host, and today he is in company with a sweet little sister who died at about the same age.
The little body was laid to rest at Pisgah Methodist church Saturday afternoon, Rev. J. E. Gay conducting the funeral service.
