World's Most Prolific Cannibal. Raku Udre Udre was a Fiji tribal chieftain during the first half of the 19th Century. He was known for consuming all parts of his victims, including their heads. Documented evidence shows that he ate at least 872 people and perhaps as many as 999 people during his reign. His village, Korolevu, is on Fiji's main island of Viti Levu. His home was located on Dakudaku Hill, which is regarded as a forbidden location. It is about 5 kilometers from the town of Rakiraki. Udre Udre is believed to have been shot and killed by colonial government officials in 1840, however the manner of his death is still undocumented.
