She married the love of her life, Raymond Eugene Morgan, on June 9, 1951 in Van Buren, Arkansas. They shared many happy years of life and marriage together.
Joan enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Joan also enjoyed doing embroidery work and going bowling. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church Women’s Auxiliary. She loved singing in the church choir and quartet. Joan served as the secretary of Sunday school classes for many years. She loved her family very much and enjoyed taking care of them through the years. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, William and Maggie Peachee; her husband, Raymond Morgan; sisters, Jewell Youngblood, Hazel Hill and Evelyn Burchfield; and brothers, Jay Peachee and Clyde Peachee.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Martin and husband Roy of Tucson, AZ, and Darrell Morgan and wife Beverly of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Brandon Callahan and wife Sara of Republic, MO, Darla Tate of Muskogee, OK, Chad Morgan and wife Stacy of Muskogee, OK, Crystal Seabolt and husband Eddy of Yukon, OK and Brent Morgan of Tahlequah, OK; great-grandchildren, Christian Mattox, Reegan Vasquez, Nick Vasquez, Marlee Vasquez, Brystle Callahan, RaeLee Tate-Wyatt and fiancé Nick Moore, Joshua Tate, Bryson Ziegler, Emma Ziegler, Colton Morgan, MacKenzie Morgan, Alexis Morgan, Lauren Seabolt, Cash Seabolt, BrenLee Morgan and Sarai Morgan; special niece, Darlene Hamilton and husband Butch; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be 2PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Reverend Denny Callahan officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Brandon Callahan, Chad Morgan, Brent Morgan, Eddy Seabolt, Colton Morgan, and Joshua Tate serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Darla Tate and Crystal Seabolt
