Joseph L. Klein, 85, of 1801 East St., Two Rivers, died Thursday morning, June 10,
at Two Rivers Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels and
10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Robert Rhyner will
officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mr. Klein was born July 4, 1897, at Two Rivers, son of the late Joseph and Emma
Kumbalek Klein. He was educated at Two Rivers schools. He worked as a machinist
at Mirro Corporation almost all his life, retiring as a machine shop foreman. He
married Mary F. Stehlik Aug. 25, 1920, at Two Rivers. She preceded him in death
in July of 1973. Mr. Klein was a member of Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include four sons, Leon of Long Island, N.Y., Lewis of Two Rivers, Claude
of West Allis, and Joseph Jr. of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank
(Margaret Mary) Kluck of Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Quirin (Theresa Ann) Kubsch of Two Rivers,
and Mrs. Peter (Anita) O'Hare of Denville, N.J.; four sisters, Mrs. Colletta Mackay
of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Ralph (Marie) Gross of Rogers, Ark., Mrs. John (Geraldine)
Stepzinski of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Esther Dahlberg of Tamarack, Fla.; 37 grand-
children, and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul, and
a brother, Leo.
Friends may call at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday
where a memorial service will be at 7 p.m.
