Robert Monroe LaCaze, 64, of Pitkin, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Friday, June 26th, 2015 in Pitkin, Louisiana with his loving family by his side. Mr. LaCaze was the current Constable for Ward 5, member of Masonic Lodge #338 were he was the past Grand Master and currently a Sr. Warden, worked for Pitkin Water and Gas, and involved with the Council on Aging and Pitkin Community Center were he was the past President. He attended First Baptist Church in Pitkin and retired from Boise in DeRidder after 35 years of dedication. He enjoyed helping in the community, hunting, fishing, playing the guitar and keyboard, singing and spending time with his family.

Mr. LaCaze was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe and Pauline Esther Youngblood LaCaze; two brothers, Stephen Columbus LaCaze and James L. LaCaze; and two sisters, Ernestine Esther Barrington and Cathy Thompson. Those left to mourn his lose and cherish his memory are his loving wife of 46 years, Rebecca LaCaze of Pitkin, LA; two sons, Robert Matthew LaCaze and wife Jennifer of Pitkin, LA and Philip Charles LaCaze and wife Brittany of Rosepine, LA; two daughters Rhonda Michele Byrd and husband Douglas of Many, LA and Roberta Marie Scott and husband Martin of DeRidder, LA; three sisters, Charlene Doxey and husband James of Pitkin, LA, Darlene Scarber and husband Earl of Houston, TX and Carolyn Gill of Sugartown, LA; ten grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will begin on Monday, June 29th, 2015 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at First Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA and on Tuesday, June 30th, 2015 from 9:00am until the time of service at 2:00pm with Brother Stephen Laughlin officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, LA. Arrangements by Hixson Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
