The Press-Dispatch, 24 Jun 2015 - Phyllis J. Morris, 80, of Ft. Wayne, formerly of Otwell, died at 5:02 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at The Town House RC in Ft. Wayne. She was born in Otwell, May 23, 1935, to Charles and Verta (Gilham) Weber. She married William Morris and he preceded her in death June 21, 2007. She was a retired housewife and a member of Petersburg First United Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, Jeff Morris, of Ft. Wayne, Greg Morris, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Michael Morris, of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Catherine Weisman, of Otwell; and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EDT, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, with Rev. Paul Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Public Cemetery in Iva. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, June 24, and from 8 a.m. until service time Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
