Debra R. Weber, 55, of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly of Gladbrook, IA passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Hospice of Mercy, in Hiawatha, IA.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Peace United Church of Christ, in Gladbrook. Rev. Robert Doner will officiate. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2015, at Peace United Church of Christ, in Gladbrook. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, in rural Gladbrook.

Debra was born March 15, 1960 to Richard "Dick" and Jolene (Dreessen) Denbow, in Grundy Center, IA. She graduated from Gladbrook High School in 1978. Deb received her nursing diploma from Allen Hospital, in Waterloo, IA. She later received her BSN from the University of Dubuque and her MSN from the California College of Health Services. Deb was employed in many
capacities as a nurse in several Health Care facilities and will be remembered for her smile, caring compassion and humor. Debra was united in marriage to Rod Weber on April 24, 2004, in VanHorn, IA.

Debra will be missed by her husband, Rod, a step-son, Skyler of Cedar Rapids, parents, Dick and Jolene Denbow, a brother, Dave (Sherri) Denbow of Gladbrook, a niece, Ashley (Mike) Steven, and a nephew, Jared Denbow along with aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Funeral services for Debra R. Denbow Weber, 55, formerly of Gladbrook, were held Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Peace United Church of Christ in Gladbrook, with Reverend Robert Doner officiating. Organist was June Bessman. Vocalists were the Peace Church Quartet. Ushers were Mikl Parsons and April Bruene.

Casket Bearers were: Jared Denbow, Jim Erpelding, Mike Dreessen, Mark Gannon, Mike Gannon, Mike Steven, Rick Kienzle, Kathy Chizek, Ashley Steven, Mary Kaufman and Bente Christensen.

Honorary Bearers were All of her Cousins.

Groups in attendance were the Gladbrook High School Class of 1978.

Final resting place is Maple Hill Cemetery in Gladbrook, IA.
