He & his wife had several other children of which we have no record. The 1820 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Elmira, Chemung Township, Tioga County, New York, the family of William Beardslee. The 1830 U.S. Federal Census enumerates at Big Flats, Tioga County, New York, the family of William Bardslee. They were residing near the Amos Stark family.
William departed this life after 1830. He is probably the William Beardslee buried in Sashabaw Cemetery next to Jeffrey, noted as "William Beardslee Grandfather" with no dates. The stones were obviously added or changed at a later date - quite possibly by a grandchild. {From McCurdy & Pollock's research}
