In the name of God, swear I, Andrew Dye, of the Township of Congress in the County of Morrow and the State of Ohio, being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail life do herefore make, or dain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament viz:

As soon as the law permit, it is my wish and direction that my property both real and personal be sold. Either in cash in hand or on a credit as my administrator, my executor, thinks best.
All my just and Lawful debts and funeral expenses to be paid out of the forst moneys that comes into the hand of my administrator.

I give to my beloved wife, Lucretia, all the household and kitchen furniture and as much of the bedding as she wishes to keep and also the one third of all moneys arising out of the sale of my farm to have and dispose of as she sees proper.

I give to my granddaughter, Rebecah Dye, the daughter of Reason Dye, all her wearing apparel, one bed and bedding, one cow which she may chose out of any cows on my place after my decease and one hundred dollars in cash not of any moneys in my administrators hand after the first items are paid the residue of all moneys arising from my estate be equally divided among my children except Sarah McClelland. She shall have Five Dollars and only five. Nine shares shall be equal Reason, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Fanny, Cassy, Rachel, Rebecah, Lucretia if any of these be dead at my decease their portion shall be equally divided among their living heirs by their first marriage husband or wife heir by a second husband or wife shall not inherit any part of it. John Dye's Reason shall have only One Dollar of John's portion. I also reserve on the farm I now live on but just sold to William Knox, four rods south and two rods east and west where the graveyard is I give and bequeath to my heirs for burial place forever. Pearson Bradford's grave being the center it being apart of the north west quarter of section nine township eighteen and range twenty. I also make and appoint Samuel Goff my executor and administrator whereof I now acknowledge this to be my last will and testament where unto I subscribe my name this twenty ninth day of January in the year of our Lord A. D. 1857. Signed and sealed in the presence of test.
