A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Boudreaux died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Iberia Medical Center.
Mr. Boudreaux was an avid fisherman, hunter, gardener, reader and loved listening to Cajun music. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7050. He worked as a plant operator at International Salts on Avery Island for 37 years. He was an usher and a Eucharistic minister and yardman at St. Marcellus Church.
He is survived by his wife Elia Moore Boudreaux of New Iberia; five sons, Kenneth Boudreaux and his wife Ann of New Iberia, Rillius Boudreaux and his wife Becky of Houston, Roland Boudreaux and his wife Faye of New Iberia, Ronald Boudreaux and his wife Fran of Opelousas and Raymond Boudreaux Sr. and his wife Barbara of New Iberia; three daughters, Peggy B. Albright and her husband Wayne of Everett, Wash., Phyllis B. Hulin and her husband Harold "Bear" of New Iberia and Mary Lee B. LeBlanc and her husband Philip of New Iberia; two brothers, Paul Boudreaux of Toledo, Ore., and Ulysse Boudreaux of New Iberia; two sisters, Theresa Boudreaux of New Iberia and Eula B. Segura of New Iberia; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorville and Felicia Bonin Boudreaux; five brothers John, Laurent, Louis, Philip and Simon Boudreaux; and two sisters, Josephine Boudreaux and Sidonia B. Segura.
