MORRISDALE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lanse, for Martin D. Graham, 57, of Morrisdale, who died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
The Rev. Mark R. Luscombe will officiate.
Interment will be at Grassflat-Lanse Lutheran Cemetery, Grassflat.
Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. today at Strange & Weaver Funeral Service, Morrisdale, and from 10-11 a.m. tomorrow at the church.
Born May 20, 1949, at Morrisdale RD, Mr. Graham was a son of Harold Graham of Morrisdale RD and the late Elfie Ruth (Coble) Graham.
Mr. Graham was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He was a former Graham Township supervisor and served for many years on the Grassflat-Lanse Lutheran Cemetery board as president and then vice president.
Mr. Graham was a 1967 graduate of West Brach High School.
He also attended tractor-trailer driving school and technical school for heavy equipment operators, both at Maryland.
He was a truck driver, having worked for Hite Electric at Clearfield for 11 years, HRI Construction for 14 years, and last worked for the Coca-Cola Co. of North America for 12 years.
On Aug. 18,1974, at Houtzdale Lutheran Church, he wed Edith E. (Olson) Graham, who survives at Morrisdale RD.
In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Graham is survived by a daughter, Robin L. Hlafcsak and her husband, Christopher, of Ruffsdale; two sons, Martin L. and Thomas J. Graham, both of Morrisdale RD; and three grandchildren, Andrew and Alexis Graham and McCaylee Hlafcsak.
Also surviving are two sisters, Isabelle V. Bryan of Morrisdale RD and Donna Shepherd and her husband, Leonard, of Niles, Ohio; and six brothers, Sherwood Graham of Somerset, George Graham of Freedom, Darrell Graham of West Decatur, Dewey Graham of Philipsburg, Norman Graham of Glen Hope and Dean Graham of Morrisdale RD.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Gill.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 119 E. Market St., Clearfield, PA 16830.
