WOODLAND - Services for Avanel M. "Mazzie" Graham, 75, of Pleasant Valley, Woodland R.D., who died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 1995, at her home, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. in Clearfield, with the Rev. Barry E. Neal officiating.
Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the service.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, c/o Rev. Barry E. Neal, Box 102, Woodland, Pa. 16881, or to Clearfield Foundation for Health-HOSPICE, P.O. Box 992, Clearfield, Pa. 16830.
Born Oct. 20, 1919, in Bradford Township, Clearfield County, she was a daughter of A. Roland and Edith M. (Jury) Graham.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and an avid gardener.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, where she had served as church secretary, flower steward and sang in the church choir. She also had served as youth choir director.
Mrs. Graham is survived by two sons, Lawrence A. Graham Sr. of Woodland R.D. and Phillip M. Graham, Cheyenne, Wyo.; six grandchildren, Kimberly G. Sayers, Lawrence A. "Zeke" Graham Jr., Rodney P. "Sam" Graham, Scott A. Graham, Kerri L. Hummel and Sally A. Reuer; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Harold Graham of Morrisdale R.D. and Robert Graham of Woodland R.D.; and two sisters, Mrs. Arlena Knee of Mt. Union and Mrs. Gilbert (Lucille) Pannebaker of Woodland R.D.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Orvis L. "Buck" Graham, in 1988; and three brothers, Harvey, Arnold and Albert Graham.
