Gary Ray Murray, 55, of Lehigh, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Services will be 9:30 AM Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Barton of Rolling Hills Community Church officiating. Burial will be in the McGuire Bend Cemetery rural Dayton. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Gary is survived by his four children, Justin Murray of California, twins, Tanya Murray and Tina Murray both of Oklahoma, and Zach Murray of Iowa; and his sister Cindy (Jason) Stanek of Fort Dodge. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Terry Murray.
Gary Ray Murray, the son of Larry and Coleen (Wilson) Murray was born February 6, 1960 in Fort Dodge, Iowa and graduated from Central Webster High School in 1978. Gary married Chris Rosalez at McGuire Bend Church and the couple later divorced.
Gary worked for Van Diest Supply Company for several years before he started working at Electrolux in Webster City. Gary later returned to Van Diest and was currently employed there at this time of his death.
Gary loved to spend time with his family and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed archery and hunting.
