She was born in Rembrant, Pa., on March 2, 1913.
Mrs. Scott was a past member of the Clymer United Methodist Church. She had worked at Hess's Restaurant in Indiana as a cook and at McCreary's as a domestic engineer.
She was a member of the Dames of Malta and enjoyed playing cards with the local ladies card clubs.
Surviving are three children: Ronald of Washington state; Winifred Stiver, Cleveland, and Robert and his wife, Wanda, of Clymer; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Dewey of Long Island, N.Y., and Norman of Washington state.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Scott; a daughter Nancy Mravunich; her father, Amos Houck; five brothers, Roy, Albert, George, David and Richard, and two sisters, Midge and Bessie.
Friends will be received today from 7-9 p.m. at the Harry J. Bence Funeral Home in Clymer. Funeral services will be held there at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. David J. Butler, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Sample Run Cemetery in Cherryhill Township.
