GEORGE ARDELL HOUCK, aged 28, who was killed in the Sample Run mine Tuesday by a fall of rock, will be buried Friday in Greenwood Cemetery following services in the Clymer Christian Church at 2 p.m. by Rev. Van Winkle.
Mr. Houck was born May 2, 1910 in Cherryhill Township, a son of Amos Houck and Loretta Holes Houck. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Jane Ramsey Houck; a son, Ardell, aged two; his father and step-mother at Rembrant; four brothers, Albert, of Greensburg; Clark, of the State of Washington; Roy, of Michigan, and Norman, of Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Davidson, of New Kensington; Mrs. Doris Scott, of Clymer; and Mrs. Mildred Sayers, of New Kensington.
