Joe L. Phemister passed away June 20, 2015 at his home in El Reno. He was born Oct. 6, 1953 in Post, TX to Leonard and Josie (Condron) Phemister. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a lieutenant for over 20 years. He later was employed by Kincaid Coach Lines as a bus driver. He was an ordained Baptist minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, LouWona Faye Phemister.
Survivors include his sons, Michael Phemister and wife Andrea and David Phemister and wife Lea, all of El Reno; grandchildren, Hailee and Adalyn Phemister; brother, Tommy Phemister of Ennis, TX; sister, Jerry Sue Troutz of Ft. Worth, TX.
Memorial services will be held Wed., June 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Lake El Reno Large Pavilion. Cremation under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
