CLAUDIA LOUISE COLLIER BRYANT, 91, of Duncan, Okla., died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, in Duncan. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Randy Southerland officiating. Interment will be in Claud Cemetery. She was born April 23, 1917, in Claud, Okla., to Claud and Rose Jane Hayes Collier. She married James Edward "Pene" Bryant on Dec. 12, 1937, in Alma, Okla. He preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1977. Claudia was a homemaker and worked very hard all her life and was devoted to her family. She was a member of Claud Home Extension Club for over 40 years. She was also a member of New Hope Baptist Church West. Survivors include her two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Joe Graham of Marlow, and Janell and Kenneth Ketchum of Loco; one sister, Faye Strickland, and one brother, Herman Collier, both of Duncan; 10 grandchildren, Rhonda Keolsch, Rodney Bryant, Eddie Morrow, James Fred Ketchum, Kimberly Woods, Jay Graham, Kyle Harmeyer, John Graham, Bryan Morrow and Heather Gage; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bertha Headrick and Seleta Buckley; three brothers, Basil Collier, Joe Collier and Billy Collier; and four children, Dorothy LaJean Morrow, Janice Tharp, Judy Harmeyer and James dward "Bear" Bryant Jr. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
