Funeral for Ellis Arthur Lang, 48, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Schaetter Funeral Home. Rev. A. A. Gitter, of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Harper, will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Lang had been a resident of Comfort and Harper. He was an auto mechanic and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He died Friday in a Kerrville hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include his wife, Oleta Lang of Comfort; a son, Wiley Samual Whitaker of Austin; two daughters, Miss Deborah Sharon Kay Lang and Miss Ruby Renee Lang, both of Comfort; his father, Edwin T. Lang Sr., of Harper; three brothers, Edwin T. Lang Jr.. of Austin, 1st Sgt. Joseph Lang of Washington and SM Sgt. Paul J. Lang of Converse; three sisters, Mrs. Oren Cottle of Harper, Mrs. John Hughes of Austin and Mrs. Norman Sullivan of San Antonio; and four grandchildren.
