Alexus Garcia, 20, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet. Alexus was born Aug. 4, 1994, in Fort Worth. She was a graduate of Fossil Ridge High School in Keller and attended Tarrant County College. She loved to play softball, ride horses, hunt and fish. Alexus dearly loved her dog, Azlyn. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Arturo Contreras and Bill Tiroff. Survivors: Mother, Chrissie Corey and husband, Frank Jr.; father, Chris Garcia and wife, Tiffany; brothers, Daniel Garcia, Christopher Garcia, Bryce Corey; sister, Briana Garcia; grandfather, Mark Tiroff and wife, Betty; grandmother, Esther Dehoyos and husband, Gilbert; grandmother, Becky Ellinger; grandfather, Frank Corey Sr. and wife, Cindy; great-grandparents, Maria Contreras, Jim Gazaway and wife, Jane, and Shirley Tiroff; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
