Mrs. Sheehan* Dies Sunday
Mrs. Mary H. Sheehan*, 84, of Melrose died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Lucas County Memorial Hospital in Chariton after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dan in 1936, and by four children.
Surviving are one son, F.W. Sheehan of Melrose; one daughter, Mrs. R.M. Shinn of Long Beach, Calif., nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight at Downs Funeral Home here. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church in Melrose, with the Rev. Father J.J. Morrissey in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery in Melrose.
NOTE: On her tombstone and in her husband Dan's and other family obituaries the family name is spelled with one e - Shehan.
Baptismal record reflects her name as Mary Ellen but tombstone, obituary and Social Security Death Index reflects Mary H.
This branch of the Ciskey family, wife and children of Michael Ciskey, changed their family name to Ciska.
