Charlotte “Mamie” Croll, 100, Cresson, died March 17, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born July 13, 1919 in Loretto, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Annie (Culley) Eckenrode. Preceded in death by husband, Grover on April 6, 1981, son, Jerry in 2015, son in law, Ray Stock, brothers and sisters; Edward, Ellen Strohmier, Frank and Doris Lenz. Survived by daughter, Charlene (Freddie) Bew and Gail Stock (Allan Wilt), daughter in law, Patty Croll, 6 grandchildren; Scott (Lisa), Eric (Jullie), Jamie, Renee, A.J. (Amy) and Alyse (Gerry), 7 great grandchildren, and sister in law, Jeanne Eckenrode. Last member of her immediate family. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson where a private memorial Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family due to the pandemic crisis. Committal, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to St. Alloysius Catholic Church in Mamie’s memory.
