Michael Paul "Mike" Goss, 48, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at his home after a brave battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home. Services will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Judy Hoelscher officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mike was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, to Don and Shannon Fitch Goss. He graduated from high school in 1984 in Lincoln, Nebraska. After some traveling around, he finally settled in Temple, Texas, in 1998. Mike married Joanna Moore in August of 2003 in Temple, Texas. He worked as an automotive painter at numerous shops in the area until going to work for Snyder Salvage in Holland where he worked until his passing. Mike was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his yearly camping trips with the "River Rats", and also was a founding member of the Temple RC Speedway in Temple.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jordan Paul Goss; his father, Don; and a brother Mathew Goss.
Survivors include his wife, Joanna; children: Ryan, Shae, and Tanner Goss, and Wyatt and William Coleman; grandchildren, Kaylie and Syphera Goss; mother, Shannon Goss; and brother, Richard Goss. E19
