Leonard, passed away on Dec. 6, 1966 was 52 years old at the time of his death. He died after complications with his heart. He worked for the past eleven years in the San Juan County area as a Heavy Equipment Truck Operator. Prior to moving his family to the Monticello area Leonard was the Supervisor for the City of Cheyenne Wells, CO.
Leonard was born on June 21, 1914 in Rozel, Kansas to Scott Alonzo and Katherine (Fromong) Webb.
Leonard and Almyra Lovicia(GOALDEN)Webb, were married June 8, 1933 in Rozel, Pawnee, KS.
To this union were born five children, one daughter and four sons. Larry Eugene Webb, one of the four sons preceded Leonard in death from a car accident in Monticello shortly after his high school graduation on July 16, 1963.
Opening prayer was given by Gerald Bailey. "In the Garden" and the "Old Rugged Cross" was sang by the Men's Quartet, "Beyond the Sunset" was played by Joe Hunt on the violin.
Speakers were Robert Dalton and Wyman Redd and closing prayer was by Milton Nielson.
Pall bearers were Elbert Randles, Don Nielson, Milton Nielson, Kenneth Bailey, Robert holden and Lowell Larsen. Internment was in the Monticello Cemetery.
