Mrs. Margaret Hogan Anderson of 1818 South Salina street died in St. Joseph's Hospital on April 17th, a week after the death of her son, Francis J. Anderson. She was the widow of Thomas F. Anderson, retired real estate dealer. She is survived by two sons, Anson and Adrian Anderson; by five daughters, Mrs. Leo Welch, Mrs. William McCarthy, and the Misses Catharine and Elizabeth Anderson, all of Syracuse, and Sister Mary Josepha of Aurora, Ill.; by a brother, William Hogan of New York City; and by two sisters, Mrs. Michael McDermott and Mrs. Julia Moore of Syracuse.

Funeral services were at St. Anthony of Padua Church, with the Rev. John McGraw celebrant, and the Rev. Leon Watkins, deacon, and the Rev. Leo Saunders, subdeacon. The Rev. Alfred Holdridge was master of ceremonies, and the Rev. Joseph Koth, chaplain of Walter Reed Hospital, and the Rev. Jeremiah McCarthy were in the sanctuary. Bearers were Leo Kelley, Walter Welch Jr., William Lynch, Joseph Burns, Gilbert McAllister, and John Moore.
