STELLA ANN MILLIGAN
Stella Ann Milligan, 59 of Sumner, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001 at her home following an eight-year bout with cancer. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001 at Sumner United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Sumner.
Stella was born Dec. 24, 1941 in Sumner, the daughter of Floyd and Myrtle (Waugh) Batye. She married Clark Milligan on Jan. 18, 1983.
Stella was a member of Sumner United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clark of the home; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Greg Murphy of Kosovo, and Marc and Debbie Murphy of Columbia; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Courtney Murphy of Columbia; her mother, Myrtle Batye of Sumner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and Clifford Huffmon, and Pauline and Wayne Woody, all of Sumner; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Floyd Batye; two brothers, Billy Gene and Robert Batye; one sister, Joyce Carr; and a sister-in-law, Helen Batye.
