GUNTOWN – Thelma R. Bishop, 92, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the Tupelo Nursing & Rehab in Tupelo. She was retired from Mid South Packers. She enjoyed gardening and raising chickens. She loved her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with Bro. Terry Myhand officating. Burial will be in the Campbelltown Cemetery. Kesler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Diane Donahue (Ken) of Baldwyn, Sherry Melson of Guntown, Georgie Pike (Jerry) of Booneville and Dazzie Fowler of Tupelo; two sons, Wade White and Jerry Dean Smith (Kay), both of Guntown; 27 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cornelia Rush; one brother; five sisters; five children; and three grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Michael White, Chad Floyd, Terry Smith, Audie Davidson, Blake Witherspoon, Ronny and Robby Bean.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today.
