Born May 25, 1916, in Fairview to William Morris and Daisy Edith Randall Irons Marvel, she married Russell E. Babcock on Nov. 2, 1931, in Peoria.

She also was preceded in death by four sisters; two brothers; and one infant son.

Surviving are two daughters, Marjorie Bort and Marilee (and Charles) Beach.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
