James Selvin Lewis, 64, of Perry, FL, passed away June 17, 2015, at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in Tallahassee following an extended illness.
James was born December 3, 1950 in Valdosta, GA, to James Henry Lewis and the former Beulah Joyce Nichols. James was a graduate of Jefferson County High School and worked as a technician for Leon County Public Library for 27 years.
In his spare time he enjoyed watching Star Trek, playing video games, going to movies, and working on his computer. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Lewis and Beulah Joyce Nichols Lewis, a brother, Kenneth Lewis, and 2 sisters, Debbie Harrell and Marie Hutto.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Beth Page Cemetery on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00AM in Wacissa with Pastor Jason Holden officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Joe P Burns Funeral Homes of Perry. All arrangements are under the care of Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
