Predeceased by his mother and father; his step father Sen. Norris Cotton, sister Maxine Labine and grandson David C. LaFleche.
He was very active in the community of Williamstown serving on several boards, committees and organizations. He was also very active with the Masons; Mount Sinai Temple; Order of Eastern Star; Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts car club
He and his wife were honored as Williamstown's citizens of the year (2010) in recognition of their contributions to the community of Williamstown.
