we mourn the loss of Millard Brister, Jr. who passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2015 at age 90 in St. Francis Hospital with his wife and two daughters by his side.
He is survived by wife Marion Brister, daughters Gladys B. Spikes and Millicent B. Collier and host of family and relatives.
Brister served in U.S. army in WWII, 1944 from Howard High graduate, a past member of Mother AUMP and Mt. Joy UME churches , and at-death Ezion-Mt. Carmel UME.
He received 33rd Degree in Scottish Rite Order of Masons of Wilmington, DE (7th Street Lodge), was Chief Custodian in Wilmington Public Schools.
Funeral services: Ezion Mt.Carmel Church, 800 Walnut Street, Wilmington.
Burial: Silverbrook Cemetery.
