Service Set For Attorney

Funeral services for Harry L. Raffety of 7616 S. E. 28th avenue, Portland attorney who died Tuesday at a local hospital, will be held Thursday at 3 P. M. at the Portland mausoleum, with entombment there. He was born in Portland May 3, 1883, the son of Dr. Dave Raffety, pioneer Portland physician. He was a graduate of the University of Oregon and the Columbia university law school. An attorney here for 35 years, he was once associated with the late senator C. W. Fulton and later with William D. Fenton. He was a member of the Multnomah County and the American Bar associations. A member of many legal committees, he served on the Crawford student loan fund committee. Surviving are his widow, Ruth E. Raffety, Portland; two sons, Harry L. Raffety Jr., Portland, and Dave Raffety, United States navy; a daughter, Mary Raffety, a student at the University of Oregon, and a sister, Mrs. Harry F. Morrow, Portland.
