Ruth Erickson Raffety, a daughter of early settlers of the Lake Oswego area, died Saturday in a Lake Oswego care center. She was 88. Mrs. Raffety was bon in the Lake Oswego area and her Swedish immigrant parents’ home and barn still stand just south of the city. She was a graduate of Oregon State College and a longtime member of All Saints Episcopal Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mary Frances Carpenter of Lake Oswego; two sons, David Raffety of Lake Oswego, and Harry Raffety of Portland; and four grandchildren. Funeral will be in All Saints Episcopal Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, with private interment in Portland Memorial Mausoelum.
