Glenna Hyde Richardson, age 93, passed away March 3, 2015, at Williamsburg Living Center in Logan, Utah, from causes incident to age. She was born the third of six children on Nov. 30, 1921, in Cornish, Utah, to Amasa William Hyde and Orpha Leona Baird. Her siblings were Lamonte B., Milton E., Norris J., Farrell W., and Ramona. They have all preceded her in death. Her mother and younger sister passed away during childbirth on Dec. 29, 1927. Amasa married Ruey Taggart Aug. 28, 1929. To that union were born Venice, Ileen (deceased), Rhea (deceased) and J. Stanley.
Glenna married Budd Clayton Raymond July 25, 1940. She bore four sons, Larry Clayton (Sherell) of Providence, Utah: Stephan L (deceased) (Mary Anne) of Grantsville, Utah; Darrell H (deceased) Emily (deceased); and W Craig (Louise) of Ammon, Idaho.
She married Stan Richardson March 13, 2002. He preceded her in death Dec. 9, 2012. His children are Gwenyth McFarland of Roy, Utah; Susan Baldwin (Larry) of Roy, Utah; Bill Richardson (Kathleen) of Portland, Oregon; Sam Richardson (Debbie) of Logan, Utah; Kelly Richardson (Karen) of Roy, Utah; and Tim Richardson (Debbie) of Ogden, Utah.
Her loving and caring personality will be greatly missed by friends and family. As a grandchild wrote, "I will miss your red lipstick on my cheek, spunky attitude, long hugs, the chocolate candy jar, the random wonderful gifts given every time I visit and just everything else fantastic about you."
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, in the Lundstrom Park Church located at 1260 N. 1600 East in Logan. A viewing will be from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the church, prior to the services.
