George Long, Mill Worker, Ill 15 Years, Dies at 74
Middletown, Aug. 6. - George H. Long, 74, died Friday at the Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg, where he had been taken for treatment. Death was due to a complication of diseases. He had been ill for the past flfteen years. He had been a resident of Middletown for the past thirty-six years and was a moulder by trade and for many years worked at the tube mills until it closed down in 1907.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, William Long and Oscar Long, Middletown, and Charles Long, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held at the home of his son, Oscar Long, Nisley and Catherine streets, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Middletown Cemetery.
