Patricia "Pat" Pence, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away June 11, 2015. A lifelong resident of Indianapolis, Pat was born March 6, 1927 in Chicago, IL, to the late Frank Leroy and Theresa Schauinger Adams.
Pat was a graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Indianapolis, and her Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana University.
Pat married William Robert Pence and was a 1st grade school teacher for IPS School #82 for over 20 years. She had a true passion for teaching, loved playing cards, and most importantly spending time with her family.
Pat is survived by her loving children, David Pence, Laura Manning (Ronald), Michele Myers and William "Rick" Pence; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pat’s husband, William Pence; and a son, Christopher Pence, preceded her in death.
