Former Iola resident Dwight O. Barnes, Wichita, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, at the age of 92.
He is survived by wife, Ann; daughters, Debra and her husband, Bill Snodgrass, Carthage, MO, Barbara and her husband, Kim Wray, Olathe, and Julie and her husband, Matthew Brown, Wichita; grandchildren, Kristi Carter, Karla and her husband, Darin Alumbaugh, Trevin and his wife, Brittney Wray, Trenton Wray, Tyler Wray, Justin Brown, David Brown, Lacey Brown and Nathan Brown; and seven great-grandchildren.
His first wife, Emma Verle, died earlier.
Memorial services were at Riverlawn Christian Church in Wichita.
