Ruth Ann Pierce, 62, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2001, at her Peoria residence.
Born Oct. 31, 1938, in Graves County, Ky., to Joseph M. and Rose V. Rowe Lawrence, she married Thomas T. Pierce on Jan. 30, 1976, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Barbara Tesch; one son, David Burgess; one brother, Joseph Lawrence; and three sisters, Norma Jean Price, Frances Edgcomb, and Mary Louise Roland.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She worked as a bus driver for Peoria School District 150 and later worked for Laidlaw Bus Lines.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
