Ada Marie Lesser Rowlan, 67, of Greeley, Colo., died on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Grace Pointe Assisted Living in Greeley.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1942, in Loveland, Colo., to John and Julia (Lee) Lesser.
Ada married Otis A. Rowlan in Loveland. She moved to Greeley from Temple, Texas, in 2007.
Mrs. Rowlan loved to fish, sew, camp and garden. She also enjoyed being around her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all, including her beloved dog, Peppy.
Survivors include her son, Otis A. Rowlan Jr; her stepson, Terry L. Rowlan; her stepdaughters, Sherry Russell, Deana Johanson and Reta Clark; two sisters, Joan Gill and Margo Pewe; two brothers, Robert Lesser and Rick Lesser; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Rowlan; her parents, John and Julia Lesser; five brothers, John Lesser, Bill Lesser, Vern Lesser, Jim Bennett and Jerry Lynn Lesser; and two sisters, Margaret Lesser and Eva Hafelfinger.
A funeral service to celebrate Ada's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Ave. in Evans. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Her urn will be buried at a later date at Linn Grove Cemetery.
