Hazel passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 in the Saint Katherine's Drexel Retirement Village in El Reno, OK. Hazel was born in Tupelo, Oklahoma on December 27, 1911, to James and Cora Swaffar.
Hazel married Ralph R. Crowly in 1931. Together they had one son, Gerald R. Crowly.
Hazel was a member of the El Reno Wesley United Methodist Church and a lifelong Homemaker. Her family believed she was the world's best pie maker.
Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, James and Cora Swaffar; husband Ralph Crowly; siblings: Lester Swaffar, Verdell Swaffar, James Swaffar, Opal Arnold, Melba Ingram and Elsie Ray Swaffar.

Son: Gerald R. Crowly and his wife Betty. Grandchildren: Michael R. Crowly and wife Penny, Susan A. Schwarz and husband Larry
Great Grandchildren: Jacob and Abby Schwarz, Stormy & her husband Cassey Chapman, April Ellison.
Great- Great Grandchildren Roy, Gwen, Tia and Rian.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hazel's personal caregivers, St. Katherine Drexel Retirement Center, and Russell Murray Hospice. It is only with their love and support that we were able to keep Grandma C with us for 103 years.
